SEES was born as a direct response to THE challenges facing the world due to Global Warming.
The implementation of SEES objectives in Zimbabwe started in 2016 after Rev Phillip Matsatswa attended the Baptist world Conference held in Vancouver, Canada where he interacted with Canadians and the Baptist World Alliance Environmental Commission group concerning the challenges posed by global warming and how the Church can participate in reducing its effects.
Carrying the conviction that this was a genuine course, Rev Phillip Matsatswa took the idea home and started concertizing his community challenging them to start reforestation, mitigation, community education and advocacy projects. The idea was resoundingly accepted, hence the implementation started. This document reflects SEES background, vision, mission, values, goals, objective and activities carried since the beginning of the project.
