This initiative focuses on the application of research observations. The first level is reaching out to help communities fight against the effects of global warming through poverty alleviation, disease cure and prevention, advocating for peace, community aid, environmentally friendly community and empowerment projects, disaster and trauma response, clean energy promotions, education support, clean water services and fruity environment projects. Advocacy mean reaching out to communities and the government advocating for policy change or implementation. Communities need to be constantly made aware of the value of taking care of the environment and the effects of Global warming to their present and future lives.

SEES has done a lot in engaging the community providing critically needed environmental conscientization and possible disaster response methods. SEES has carried several training workshops meant to prepare the community deal with environmental challenges and provide possible mitigative measures. SEES has gone further to conscientize Churches and government on the need for seriousness in environmental care. SEES is currently working on a plan to reach out to communities affected by Cyclone Idai in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe bordering Mozambique with poverty alleviation projects such as food relief, fruit plantation support, honey, art and craft projects. SEES seek to work with the ministry of health in enhancing disease cure and prevention response once resources become available. SEES is looking forward to advocate for peace in the community and intensify its efforts in disaster and trauma response, clean energy promotions, education support, clean water services.

SEES has reached communities through dairy, weekly or monthly national media publications, pamphlets or magazines. Sometimes SEES organize debates on topical environmental issues that invites key stakeholders in the discussions.
